Help artists from less well off backgrounds achieve the greatness in the art of Blues they crave.

Past

Educate the next generation about where blues comes from and what it did for people in hard times.

  1. 1994   - Pop music legends including Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach & Johnny Mathis play for the Wish Upon a Song concert series to benefit Miller Children's Hospital.
  2. 1997 -Unity Festival founded by Steve Adams and Bill Grisolia - still going after twenty years (at CSULB in 2016 & 2017).
  3. 2012 -Blues Festival tradition restarted in Long Beach by Bill Grisolia and Bob Barr.
  4. 2016 -Long Beach Blues Society.founded to support the community including kids, under-served, veterans, musicians and the festival.
     

Future

Expand work in schools and get kids excited about the pure artistry Blues Music offers and inspire them to be part of the next generation of artists and fans.
